Sriv (SRIV) is a personal app for tracking slip-ups, habits, spending, and keeping a reflection journal. We collect the minimum amount of data and never share it with third parties.

What we store

• Name (nickname) — a pseudonym you choose at sign-up (visible to other users; your real name is not required). That's all the optional account needs.
• PIN code — stored only as a cryptographic hash (PBKDF2-SHA256). The PIN itself is never stored and cannot be recovered.
• App data — habits, slip records, spending entries, journal entries, and daily tasks. Used to sync across your own devices.

We do not collect an email address. The account needs only a nickname and a PIN. We also do not collect: email, phone number, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. There is no analytics or tracking.

Where data is stored

Locally on your device and — if you sign in to an account — on our own server (no third-party cloud providers) over a secure connection (HTTPS). Without signing in, data never leaves your device.

How data is used

Solely to run the app: storing your records and syncing them across your own devices. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Data deletion

You can delete your account directly in the app: sync icon → profile → “Delete account permanently”. This permanently erases your account and all synced data from the server. Local data on the device is removed via the reset button ↻ or by deleting the app.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
